Breakfast in Westwood, before loading the van with loads and loads of drink and sweets from the management staff at Westwood which we are all grateful for.
Jim 'I know the Midlands really well' Kennell took us for two tours of Coventry this way, then that way, then lets go back and start again. By about midday, Spency had just about had enough so jumped in the van and road the rest of the way. On leaving the city Jim had to get a photo of his new house, the rest of us made a quick getaway at this point.

Carl 'Polka Dot Jersey Holder' Jones had his pride hurt Monday by Roger and Spency beating him to the top of consecutive hills, took every hill climb title, especially when Roger put the money on the table.
After a road side cafe stop we then got lost three times trying to get out of Mansfield, Jim enjoyed the place so much so after getting pelted by some youths and sworn at, went back with backup (Lynz) but could not find them, so we gave up after the 3rd attempt.
The lunch stop was in Beruit (Nottingham) where Mr Campbell as per usual starts chatting up the local totty! but we think he got than he expected this time, Benidorm next year Dave?? He even got a quid out of her, we did wonder why Dave went inside for 20 seconds!!!
Peter McMicheal joined us in Nottingham for the ride to Doncaster, we took the bat mobiles to Gotham City where Batman (Wayne) and Robin (Spency) waiting at the pub missed the convoy as they flew past with Rodney 'Dave' Campbell leading the way.
Stats for the Day
7 Hours 50 Mins of riding but 12 hours in the saddle! Where did the other 4 hours go (Looking at Sat Nav, iPhone, Map and Blackberry, we think, but come to the conclusion that they dont work in the midlands)
2 Teddy Bears out of the pram (Lost in Mansfield) (Carl told to go to the front and take the wind instead of gassing)
Carl taking turn at the front. (Had to take over from the stella Roger!)
Miles 114, should have been 20 but the loops around Coventry and Mansfield added the extra miles)
1 Puncture (Lynz)
Wind was strong and in the face (apart from our Carlos cos he never took his turn)
Injuries 2, Spency in the Van with Left Knee problems, White Knee Brace) (Lynz also Knee, Blue Knee Brace) Carl had a few buttock problems but after applying the assos cream to his mouth quickly recovered
The Support of the Support award goes to Spency for his directions and mileage calculations, only 15 miles to go chaps!!!!! When in fact it was 36 miles!
Abuse, lots in Chavtastic Mansfield.
Highlight of the day was in Westwood with staff members Jackie and Comfort providing breakfast and David and Ron seeing us off with copius amounts of supplies Thanks All!
Lost, 5 times lost by Jim 'I know the Midlands better than anyone ' Kennell in Mansfield (Sutton in Ashfield) and Coventry
Pothole of the day was the Grand Canyon in Coventry, it was so deep it had its own bomb shelter and tour guide.
Wee stops as in going to the little boys or girls wood, lots and lots, Roger and Lynz mostly!!
Star of the day Peter.
So nice to get onto roads we know, York on Wednesday.
The further north we get the more we can understand Dave and Lynz, that could be the Scottish air flowing down.
